Lindsey joined BridgePoint in 2015 and is a senior corporate/banking lawyer bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in all facets of lending transactions, alternative forms of financing, restructuring and day to day corporate matters.

Prior to joining BridgePoint, Lindsey was a partner at the Toronto office of Bennett Jones LLP, one of Canada’s pre-eminent full service law firms, acting for lenders and borrowers on sophisticated debt transactions, including asset-based and mezzanine loans, and on private mergers and acquisitions and associated private equity and debt financings. She also established herself as the Canadian counsel of choice for syndicated cross-border and international loans and leveraged buy-out financings originating from the major global financing centres.

As the Vice President, Legal Services at BridgePoint, Lindsey’s responsibilities include taking a lead role advising on, negotiating and assisting with the structuring of all material transactions (including those of BridgePoint’s U.K. affiliate, SpectraLegal), with a focus on debtor/creditor, investor and indemnity matters. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Lindsey worked across Canada and in Germany as a manufacturing and performance design engineer for ABB, a multi-national engineering company in the power generation industry.

Lindsey obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Ottawa and her Bachelor of Science with Honours (Mechanical Engineering) from Queen’s University. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2000, is a Professional Engineer and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Women’s Executive Network.
